Q1 : How do I redeem my prepaid card?
To redeem your card and start playing, all you need to do is download the TELUS Games Player and activate your card in a few easy steps:

| 2. | Once the Games Player has installed, double click on the TELUS Games Player icon on your desktop. |
| 3. | When the Games Player opens, click on "Sign Up". Register first for a free Games on Demand membership ID. This username and password allows you to log on, activate your card, and select and play games in your Game Pack. |
| 4. | Upon successful registration a "Sign Up Successful" page will display. Click on the link "Redeem Prepaid Game Card".* |
| 5. | Enter the card number and PIN number located on the prepaid card or virtual voucher. |
| 6. | Once entered, your temporary subscription will be activated and you now have access to TELUS games online for the period indicated on the card. To monitor the time remaining in your prepaid card, visit "My Account" in the TELUS Games Player. |

Q2 : How do I top up my prepaid card?
Prepaid games cards cannot be recharged or reloaded. Please purchase a new prepaid games card at one of our participating retailers.
Q3 : Can I use the prepaid card to purchase games for my mobile phone?
No, the prepaid games card cannot be used in conjunction with any mobile device.
Q4 : Can I redeem the prepaid card on my Mac computer?
No, the TELUS Games On Demand Service may only be used on a PC. See minimum system requirements for more information.
Q5 : How will I know when my one or two month subscription is over?
You will receive email notifying you that your subscription will be ending. You can also view the days remaining in your subscription under “My Account” within the TELUS Games Player. After your subscription ends, please purchase a new prepaid games card.
Q6 : The PIN and Card Number printed on my prepaid card won’t validate. What should I do?
Ensure that you have entered the right sequence and that the card has not expired. If you still have problems, please email TELUSRCS@telus.com.
Q7 : My prepaid card expired before I redeemed it. Can I get refund or replacement?
The card expires three months from purchase or the expiry date printed on the card. Please ensure timely redemption of your prepaid card before this date. No refunds or replacements will be granted after purchase. After redemption, you will have unlimited access to TELUS Games on Demand for one or two months (depending on card purchased).
Q8: What is the TELUS Games Player?
The TELUS Games Player is a FREE desktop application that you download onto your computer. The Games Player is a required download that lets you subscribe to TELUS Play Pack and access and play games on demand The Games Player also lets you browse the entire TELUS games on demand catalogue and perform administrative actions from your computer without requiring you to be on TELUS’ website.
No. Currently the TELUS Games Player works for PCs running Microsoft Windows 2000 or higher operating systems only.
You can launch all your titles from inside the TELUS Games Player.
- Log in to the TELUS Games Player.
- Select a title from the home page or catalogue and click "Play Now".
- The System Checker will start automatically, and will alert you if the game you're playing has an issue with your computer. It will prompt you if your PC meets the minimum game requirements. If you don’t, you will be prompted if you wish to play anyway or quit.
- Once initiated, the game will automatically download for you, and launch the game when you are ready. Because of streaming, the game may launch prior to full install.
Please be patient, it may take a several minutes to cache your title.
Q11: How do I know if my system is compatible with a game?
The TELUS Games Player uses a System Checker to read each game's minimum requirements before allowing you to begin downloading the game. If your computer does not meet the minimum requirements, it will show you what failed and either block access to the game, or allow you to continue if you wish.
Q12: Can I save a game? How do I do that?
Yes, assuming the title in question allows saving. You can save your game exactly as if you had the title installed. All user settings and save games are preserved between play sessions. You can access your saved games from the “My Games” button within the Games Player.
Q13: How do I delete a game off my computer to free up Hard Drive space?
To delete a Play Pack genre, you must launch the TELUS Games Player, login, and then click on the “My Games” button. This list will show all of the titles you have on your computer from the TELUS Play Pack. Simply click on the Uninstall button inside each game title. This will remove the title cache from your computer and free up Hard Drive space.
Q14: What if I forget my password?
If you forget your password, start the TELUS Games Player, click the link on the “Log In” page, and enter your user ID. Your password will be sent to you.
Q15: Can I run my TELUS Play Pack on other computers?
Yes. You can access your account from any computer you want. Simply sign in with your username and password on a computer that has Internet access via broadband and a TELUS Games Player installed.

Yes. Click here for DEP help documentation. Data Execution Prevention (DEP) is a set of hardware and software-enforced technologies implemented (with support from Intel/AMD) in Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) and Windows Vista.
Please note: that you will not be able to access your previously saved games when switching computers. You will need to download your game cache on this remote computer.
